Terms of Use

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Half Moon Labs LLC (“Colibrí”, “we”, “us”) for the Colibrí app and services. Your license to use the app is also governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple’s EULA”); these Terms add to it, and if they ever conflict on the license itself, Apple’s EULA governs. By using Colibrí you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

Who can use Colibrí

You must be at least 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK, or the age of digital consent where you live). If you’re under the age of majority, use Colibrí only with a parent or guardian’s involvement.

Your account

You sign in with Apple or Google. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

Subscriptions

Colibrí offers auto-renewable subscriptions — Monthly and Annual — sold through Apple In-App Purchase. The price and billing period are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy. Key terms (also shown at purchase):

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm.
• Your subscription auto-renews unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends; Apple charges the renewal within that final 24 hours.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID / App Store settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Any free-trial time you haven’t used is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s Media Services Terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you create — your voice recordings, photos, journal entries, and written answers. You give us permission to host and process them only to run and improve the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights to what you submit.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Colibrí unlawfully, don’t try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it, and don’t misuse the AI features. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.

Feedback is automated — and not professional advice

Colibrí’s scoring and feedback are AI-generated and may be incomplete or wrong. Colibrí is for learning only and is not legal, immigration, medical, or professional advice, and we don’t guarantee any particular result, fluency, or exam outcome. Verify important information with official sources.

Apple

Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app, and any warranty and product, legal, or intellectual-property claims about the app are our responsibility, not Apple’s — except that Apple may refund your purchase price as your sole warranty remedy against Apple. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. The Colibrí name, content, and mascot are ours or our licensors’.

Changes & contact
